Weddings are very personal, so I believe it’s important for you to know who is officiating your wedding. If you have more questions about me after this, just ask! I consider myself an open book. Sit back and let me tell you the Donna Williams Christian story.
I’m a proud Hoosier--a life-long resident in rural, central Indiana with my family. I’ve been married for 25 years and have two beautiful daughters, three cats and too many dogs. My sister and I own some farmland in the south-central part of the state. I was raised on a farm and enjoy the rural life. In my spare time I really enjoy shopping, writing, reading, traveling and most of all, spending time with my family. I am a proud member of the Rotary Club of Indianapolis. I wouldn’t change anything about my life! (Well, maybe winning the PowerBall would be welcome!)
My professional background includes shopping center management and marketing, radio, downtown development and not-for-profit operations and communications. I left the business world to peruse my enjoyment of writing, being of service to others, and creating my own small business at home. My degree is from University of Indianapolis with a major in Journalism and Political Science.
I absolutely enjoy meeting couples over drinks or dinner and getting to know them. After asking several questions, I go home and personalize every ceremony. Talking to the couple is my favorite part of the wedding! I pride myself on being a quick-study of reading people and have a flare of showing your personality in the ceremony. My writing and polished scripts are heart-felt, very personal and there’s some wit sprinkled in to keep a smile on your face for all those pictures!
My goal is always to be the best at anything I undertake, so writing and officiating your wedding ceremony is in loving, and professional hands. Whether you’re doing a quick wedding on the steps of the courthouse to hosting a wedding with hundreds of guests – I give each couple the same attention and care when preparing and presenting at your wedding.
My husband and I were married in Walt Disney World. (Yes, I married Goofy!) I remember that ceremony like it was yesterday. I want yours to be that memorable too. I want you to never forget the promises you make on your wedding, how your future spouse looked, and the lightheartedness and joy you felt on one of the most important days of your life. Love is certainly what we are all doing right in this world.
